Jonathan holds a MA (Hons) in Management from the prestigious School of Management at the University of St Andrews.

He has vast experience of delivering training and personal development activities from his previous roles as an operations and training manager for a large national organisation, a leader and manager of a team of 120, a training policy advisor to a large regional organisation, and an independent trainer.

As an independent trainer he has run successful leadership and planning exercises for a range of diverse organisations, including departments of the Scottish Executive and delegates from the Institute of Financial Services.

He is recognised for his engaging presentation style and has a clear delegate focus. Although he has his MA (Hons) as a foundation stone his leadership experience is practical and his success as a leader didn’t come without learning some hard lessons and making some tough decisions.

He sees leadership ‘training’ as a development activity and balances academic theory with practical exercises and examples. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
